Games

This is page is a hub for my various past and present game projects, sorted by technology, platform and date. Click the links for details, videos, screen captures and download links.

Constructive criticism is most welcome: it’s how I improve!

Gamemaker (Windows)

Supersoldat (2006-2008): an action platform game where you can run really fast and flying-rebound-back-kick Nazi-clones across the room.

Abomination (2009): a grim puzzle platform game with an emphasis on atmosphere. Pain = Bad. Teddy = Good.

Murder Man (2009-2010): my most advanced game ever, using high-definition sprites, AI and hierarchies. Release estimated June 2010.

Zombie Run (2009-2010): a top-down arcade game in which you must stay alive as long as possible by running away from Zombies. Warning: highly addictive!

Race 4 Extinction (2011): an extension of a game created in 48 hours for the 2011 GGJ. A fast-paced obstacle course with plenty of cute cartoon graphics :)

C / SDL (Windows, Linux)

Malloc (2010): a cute little Sokoban clone featuring the peaceful “Malloc” people, who must allocate “RAMs”. I just made a Computer Science joke!

Worm (2010): continuing on the Computer Science theme, here’s a Snake clone about “Storm Worm”, the virus.

C++ / SFML (Windows, Linux)

Bugger! (2010-2011): a debugging-themed top-down shooter, featuring more geek-humour, loud explosions and excessive cartoon violence.

Java / Android SDK (Android)

Gone (2011): a simple, interactive memento-mori. Our group was winner of the 2011 Art-game (hate that term) weekend!

Java / LWJGL / Slick (Windows, Linux)

Quetzalcoatl / DJ Java (2012): three colour-coded serpent-Gods protect the earth from impending doom as marbles rain down upon us. Developed during the 2012 GGJ.

HTML 5 (Windows, Linux, Mac)

Black Dog (2012): a moody “Paradise Lost”-inspired helicopter-game clone. Click to flap your wings, hold to glide, release to drop. Escape the Black Dog.

C++ / SDL / Android NDK (Windows, Linux, Android)

Boing-Boing / Biotop (2011-2012): A commission from Slak Games, coming soon.

Black Dog HD (2012): an optimised C++ port of the above, for Android and Desktop platforms and with improved graphics.
